Description
This 2021 Cadillac Escalade ESV Platinum was armored in 2022 to an NIJ 0108.01 III-A level by Scaletta Armoring of Bedford Park, Illinois. It is finished in Sandstone Metallic over Whisper Beige leather upholstery and is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Modifications include armor protection on the body, fuel tank, and engine bay, transparent armor windows, a front ram bumper, security-style door handles, revised suspension and brakes, replacement 22″ wheels, Bridgestone Alenza run-flat tires, and a fold-down work surface ahead of the right-rear seat. Additional factory equipment includes a limited-slip rear differential, LED lighting, heated and ventilated front seats, second and third-row bench seats, a rear camera mirror, a heated steering wheel, a 36-speaker AKG Studio Reference surround sound system, tri-zone automatic climate control, and a 16.9″ OLED infotainment screen with navigation and wireless smartphone connectivity.
The rear cargo area features an armored bulkhead swing door with an integrated window and is outfitted with a Lund locking storage box, a hydraulic jack, and a fire extinguisher. The heated multifunction steering wheel fronts a 14.2″ OLED configurable digital instrument cluster that displays a 160-mph speedometer, a 6,500-rpm tachometer, and a fuel gauge. The digital odometer indicates 8k miles.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a ten-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a limited-slip rear differential.
